FAQ's

You can machine wash all Paradise Life's sun shirts & rash guards. Be sure to not wash with Velrco or other rough items which may cause a snag. Hang or lay flat to dry.  After salt water use, rinse with fresh water and hang or lay flat to dry in the shade, not direct sunlight. After swimming in chlorine water it's especially important to rinse it out well or the color will fade.

How do I clean my sun shirts & rash guards?

What makes your shirts so great against the harmful rays of the sun?

A typical white T-shirt offers only up to an average of 7% UPF.  A dark colored one up to about 10%.  Once those shirts are put on in the water they lose about half of their UPF protection.  Paradise Life's shirts offer UPF of 30 and 50 whether they are dry or wet!

What is UPF?

UPF stands for Ultraviolet Protection Factor. It indicates how much of the sun’s ultraviolet rays can penetrate the fabric.  For example, a shirt with a UPF of 50 allows just 1/50th of the sun’s UV radiation to reach the skin.  UPF is generally used for clothing whereas, SPF for sunscreens & cosmetics.
